No release date has been announced for this Netflix series yet. I would bet its not coming out this year though as it still seems very early in development.

Oh my goodness, finally! I can't wait to see this. I am a huge fan of the graphic novel and the movie, and I always thought it would make a fantastic anime. Netflix has been doing an amazing job with their animated series lately, so I have high hopes they will do justice to the source material. I'm already picturing the epic fight scenes in my head. This is great news.
