Should Bounie add managed dynamic stories?

This sounds like a great upgrade with lots of potential. I agree that stories should remain visible to all users. And if the original creator wants to limit contributions that is a great feature. Would this allow for editing past posts as well? IE , correcting a spelling mistake after posting? Possibly you could put a time limit for how long edits are allowed.

ben - Yes I think this would also be a good option to add to managed dynamic stories. It is not a major priority for me though, for example twitter did not allow editing until enabling it last year. I think a time limit for being able to edit it is probably the best route to go.

GreenHill - Thanks for the follow up.

At its core Bounie is a platform for users to contribute to stories together. But could there be value in users being able to create their own managed stories where they are the ones in control of the conversation. For example, having settings for a story where you can control the type of user contributions allowed, who can contribute, the default order of the story and things like that. This would basically give the user admin control for their own story, if they choose this new option. My thinking right now is I want any news on Bounie to always be public for any users to equally contribute to. So these user managed stories would more be aimed at things like typical blog posts, except using the Bounie dynamic story format. I think this idea has a lot of potential. I’m curious to know what you think?

Should users have the option to lock down their stories?

Interesting suggestion! Could you clarify what you mean by "managed dynamic stories"? It sounds like it could be a great addition to Bounie's mission of reinventing the news.
