Categories on Bounie are automatically populated with trending stories based off of the tags on a story. Categories are different from tags in that they cover much broader topics, compared to tags which can be used for grouping much more specific topics.

For example, a story will be added to the books category if it has the tag "book", "author" or another tag related to books.

We hope this update makes it easier to browse Bounie for the specific topics you're interested in without having to jump between similar tags. We also hope you like the new sidebar design we've introduced on desktop.
